What I don’t get is why nobody hit the floor in panic - why no screaming and shouting after these people outside the doors watch a woman shot down in cold blood a few feet from them? They were ALL standing in front of a wall of windows with a shooter on the other side, and nobody hit the floor? The cameras kept running - how many panic events have we seen over the years with people running from a threat, camera in hand bouncing all over the place, the din of panicked voices as a backdrop to the chaos? Nope, something fishy in all of this. I agree, they “needed a death” to fit the “insurrection” narrative, but my question is, why the death of someone they labelled as one of the “perpetrators”? And if Trump supporters are so threatening, so dangerous - where was the retaliation? Why did no one attempt to take down the shooter? They say he was wearing “a suit”. Why would anybody there assume he was a cop? But also, here’s another “death by cop” and this guy is protected? And where are the riots in the street by “Trump supporters” avenging Ashli’s “death”? The more I read about it and think about it, the more I’m convinced there is so much about this part of the movie that is not what it seems.
