My husband and I came down with it at the same time September of 2020. It was bad. We've never been so sick in our lives. :-(

Out of work for nearly 3 weeks. Our symptoms were very different. I had a fever for 2 weeks. Hubby never had one. We both lost taste and smell, but mine came back after about 2 weeks. Hubby had lots of respiratory issues. I'm an RN, and I knew he was coming down with the beginnings of pneumonia. Finally convinced him to go to the ER. CT scan showed early streaks of pneumonia in both lungs. Caught it in time, but took 3 rounds of antibiotics to resolve.

After Covid nearly one year later: My husband STILL can't fully taste or smell. He's been to ENT's and even had sinus surgery to no avail. He also has permanent damage to his left lung base and sees a pulmonologist every 6 months for eval and CT scan.

Me: Some GI issues, which I've never had before. Frequent "bugs" and constipation. My gut used to be made of steel. LOL And I definately still suffer from "Covid brain".

May I also add we were told there was no treatment for Covid. No offer of Ivermectin or HCQ. We were told all we could do was go home and treat the symptoms.

But we are blessed. And we're still not getting the jab!
