This is a legit fear. Once they let themselves see the convoy in person, any residual illusions of extremist/racist/facists would shatter and their world view would never be the same again.

Yep, when the CDC info admitted back in June that only 6% of deaths had no co-morbidities and over 50% were ones like suicide, car accidents, gun shots, poisoning, etc I couldn't get people to look at the official CDC site and they downright said they wouldn't read it. They were scared to see confirmation that their trusted agency was lying right to their face this entire time and wasn't even hiding it.

Also like the "Let's Go Brandon" chants this scares them into realizing that Reddit and Twitter lied to them and they're the fringe minority after all.
