Interesting...possession of explosive devices is a felony. This sentence sounds more like possession of fireworks than an explosive device. There are both Federal and State laws that restrict the possession of any explosive device. Fireworks fall under a set of guidelines that limit the amount of explosive material allowed. Anything beyond that is considered an explosive device. The parameters for explosive devices was not met by the material this guy had. He will be a person of interest in the future if he doesn't discontinue this type of behavior, but in the mean time he gets a close call and hopefully wakes him up that playing revolutionary is not a great idea.
