Hey, GAW pedes.
Tough day for me today!
I'm wading through mah various favorite information sources - including various forums, groups and discussion venues.
The disinfo I see is so overwhelming. GAW is a great place to be because, to a very large extent, I think any disinfo / alt-views that comes up here (if and when they do) are very often challenged, and at a minimum, you get pushback and challenge. There is overall a real propensity to have push and pull, but usually without the acrimonious toxicity that is such a feature fo the internet 'discussion' spaces in general. Here, you often get to see two sides, at a minimum, kek, often 5 or 6 siders to the same story or topic, but without the "kill the other guy" vibes.
That's an amazing accomplishment. Group think is very much an enemy of truth, because truth is not really monolithic; it is vast, integrated and creative. It is often different perspectives that highlight unseen aspects of the truth, such that truth stands out all the clearer when differing perspectives are presented and they are worked through, either shot down or uplifted.
But there is such a sea of disinformation out there in the freedom sphere. We are under such attack it seems, depending on where you look. Among the truth seekers, there are - it seems to me - still many who absorb and align with less-than balanced viewpoints, succumbing to overly subjective perspectives that tug and pull at their emotions or biases - thus falling under the spell of propaganda / black propaganda or scamming. Sigh.
Seeing sleeping sheep is frustrating, but seeing those who otherwise are awake being distracted by disinfo opps, being dragged and pulled by their emotional strings under attack from evil agents, that is all the more painful to see. For me, anyway. But whose comparing apples and chalkboards, right?
Anyway, tough day today. Sometimes the information war feels kinda heavy.
So, just putting that out there. I mean, I'm good. I'm really good. We got winning up the swazooo! And much more to come. But sometimes I just need to reflect and let the heaviness do what it does.
Ain't no disgrace in that. And nothing wrong with it. If one didn't feel that now and again, why, you'd have to be one of them russian bots that rigged the 2016 election!
Signed, not a robot.
Addendum: salute to all the pedes out there doing it tough. Not one hair of your head is swept but that the Creator knows and cares for it, and you.
