What worked for me was learning to meditate so I can quiet my mind. This was hard at first because my ego was thinking "this is stupid" lol. But over time it became easier.
Start paying attention to what you are thinking about and whenever you notice a negative thought STOP. Force yourself to look at it from a positive perspective. After a while, this becomes a habit and you will begin to see the positive in everything.
Taking a break from negative social media, TV, Movies, Music, etc is important. Think of everything as positive or negative and try to surround yourself with positive content. Go for walks in nature if you can. Breathing exercises helped me also. Look into Whim Hoff. This part might sound strange but the "universe" [God] is aware of your intentions and will help guide you. This is a "free will" planet so you need to ask or give permission if you want help. I used to talk to a glass of water and state my intentions before I drank it. I still do actually. lol, It sounds strange but it works. Our "subconscious mind" is very powerful and that might have something to do with it too.
Remember that our emotions are extremely important so if you start seeing repeating numbers or synchronicities you are not going crazy. Everything is positive, remember that. If you let fear and paranoia take over they will drag you down. "All we have to fear is fear itself."
Don't chase any outcome or force yourself to listen to anybody. Trust your intuition. If somebody says something or you read something that does not resonate just ignore it and move on. Just observe and be aware and watch everything play out. Information and answers you need will find their way to you. [Divine timing]
