Well stated and I agree. There is a narrative here and those that are not rah-rah with that narrative are attacked into silence, or worse yet, causing them to leave altogether. I worry that this internal censorship is having a deleterious effect on what was intended to be intelligent dialog based upon critical analysis and exchange of ideas in order to make sense out of the world and attempt to map out strategies for our future. The discussions here at times are no different than those that occur in the broader culture - thin skinned, shallow, and at times, meanspirited. This dog is about ready to run away, but I continue to stay in order to lend my expertise where I can contribute for the benefit of all. Part of me refuses to allow the naysayers to run me off.
