I've met Matt a few times actually with his Father Don at fundraisers who served / ran the state Senate there . Food was always good, and there was always a Don Gaetz 'Godfather' joke I'd overhear that I'm sure he heard 1k times. TBH lots of things about his kid Matt just were ... off. IDK didn't think much of it at the time but still cut his Dad the check.
