This is spouting yet another faction we can call Morpheusism. Aka ancient gnosticism in new clothes.

Christianity, unfortunately for your OP points, was in direct and seamless continuity with the religion of the prophets from centuries, millennia, prior... which unequivocally explained that in this world and in this life there is a fundamental antithesis among the human race.

In terms of the early chapters of Genesis it is described as those who are the "seed of the woman" vs those who are the "seed of the serpent." The one would oppose the other. One spiritual line would be in covenant communion with their creator and redeemer God, the other spiritual line would be in covenant communion with their dark lord who promises them ultimate Autonomy and self Potentiation (either through every ramshackle spiritual and philosophical trend including gnosticism, or entire religious and secular empires) apart from any notions of corrupting guilt in need of forgiveness and justification before an awesome and holy God.

So conflict, hostility and lack of unity are endemic to the history of mankind. It simply proves that there is a fundamental existential guilt and judgment problem that must be resolved. Jesus confirmed this state of affairs in his own recorded teachings to his disciples, including what to expect as they were commissioned to go out and proclaim the good news of salvation by grace in his name. They were also warned that division within the Christ movement itself was going to be a threat and a danger. The antidote was for the community of believers, the churches, to be organized around and devoted to the gospel, and the consequent instructions and practices which united them in bonds of love and service to God and one another. True, living, vibrant, organized religion was the only means that God divinely revealed for his people to function in this world, what Christ built and has been building on himself the rock of salvation.
