"The time required for a biological system, such as that of a human, to eliminate, by natural processes, half of the amount of a substance (such as a radioactive material) that has entered it." Which is not to say that Stronium 90 is GOOD or harmless, I just had never considered biological half-life as a possible variable. Personally, I would rather go in the blast, than suffere the effects; and as to the Second Coming - again, read about it ... would prefer to be room temperature.
