And I upvoted you due to the crap I've seen since Vietnam...So right there with you...example:

when someone says they got the Bronze Star or Silver Star I begin to wonder about that decoration...Usually I will preface the question like: " You got the Bronze Star?" what did you do to receive it?????? I have an Army guy who is like that and he was in Artillary during Gulf War...and WILL NOT SAY HOW HE GOT IT...
