Over the last 24 hours, comments made on Alex Jones' Info Wars network are making the rounds, and stirring up quite a few reactions in a time when the American Mind has never been more tense and, well, reactive.
When you reframe that reactivity from a natural state of being to an engineered response meant to trigger as many into emotional, Fight or Flight states as possible, and you consider who such reactivity benefits, I think the stance myself and many of my peers in this space hold regarding those inflammatory comments holds weight.
While there's plenty of backlash every time we question someone with a MIL pedigree, I personally think this is one of the major vectors of emotional and cognitive exploitation this community is prone to falling prey to, just as the Bush Jr. Administration weaponized American patriotism to get us involved in the most recent Forever War it took Donald Trump to get us out of.
It's quite simple: If you talk like a Glowie, you will be treated like one.
