Just read the transit history of the ship:

https://www.vesseltracker.com/cn/Ships/Ever-Given-9811000.html?show=details

Seems an odd coincidence that it just happened to have an accident about a month ago that was under investigation by the German police. Mentions the words “storm” and “blackout”. Might be nothing, but the timing does seem suspicious. Also, probably way overthinking this, but the two tugboats involved in the incident were named after types of dogs, lol (bulldog and boxer).

“Feb 10 at 10.10 a.m. where the German police continued its investigations. Initially it was thought that the ship had suffered a blackout, but now it looked like a storm gust had pushed the vessel to port side.”

“It also became known that a tug accompanied the freighter, but had no line connection. The tug 'ZP Bulldog' had assisted at the bow and the 'ZP Boxer' at the rear which escorted the freighter on its way down the Elbe.”

Edit: I was wondering what the “ZP” acronym in front of the tug boats could stand for, and looky here:
