TAIWAN - I live in Taiwan. Since a couple weeks (17 May to be exact) Taiwan is under a renewed COVID scare. Before this date, life was affected like the rest of the world, but still kind of bearable. Why? Because new cases detected of deadly virus!!1!
New rules:
- All schools closed
- Children can't play outside
- Face masks, all the time
- Since 2 weeks, you now see people with face shields and protective glasses here and there
- Companies divided workforce in shifts for redundancy
- Plexiglass and plastic dividers installed in supermarkets etc.
- Must 'sign in' when entering any business, centrally recorded
- Adjusted open times for businesses
- Entrances have a screening area, other entrances blocked off - PANDEMIC!
It is really, really crazy, because I see this thing winding down worldwide (or the US, it seems, where most people report in from), but now this small island nation in Asia is going 100% bonkers.
