While I definitely understand culturally how we have slipped into pushing adulthood further and further back and understand the points about college. There are a few things to consider: 1. I am getting a degree in neuroscience which both means that the majority of my courses are hard science and is also a career that I can’t really pursue without a degree. 2. At home I am also helping to some degree to take care of my sick mother, and I don’t really want to leave when her remaining time is likely quite limited. Regardless, thank you for the advice. I did actually try to transfer to a more conservative college, like Hillsdale, but they rejected my transfer application despite my stats being way above their average (which makes me wonder if they do affirmative action like most schools, although to be fair it could simply be how many students are trying to transfer to conservative schools right now) so I’m likely stuck with this one at least for undergrad.
