My parents once owned the finest five star French cuisine restaurant in Portland Maine. Was in Gourmet mag 3 times. “Gardner’s 34 Exchange”. I took my best friend once as teenagers and we toured the place. Anyway his family were heavy into huge culinary feasting and the restaurant tour impressed him so much he went into culinary arts & became the head chef at Ritz Carleton Corp. I love the art and crafting of global foods & recipes and when you get into it I’m enthralled. My thing was in all my global travels I would always dive deep into that culture...the music and food to be precise. My favorite cuisine outside of European dishes is Arabian/Med dishes. Any city in USA I visit I try to find that food and speaking some Arabic sometimes gets me extra fare 😎👍🏽
