You can still get 2g phones. I have this Nokia Feature Phone (just check your network is able to accept 2g signals - many still do.

They are good for texting and phone calls but no internet and they don't accept images. They do have a camera which is not very good, but it's probably safe from being spied on. I've used one for years in preference to the Android smart phone I have, and they last ages before they need charging.

Or get a cheap Android. But they'll probably do the same thing soon.
