It’s not that we no longer have the US. It is that the election is no longer valid because no matter who wins President, all 50 states must officially certify. If all states do not, or 1 decertifies, then the election and President isn’t the official winner until the issue is rectified. PeaceThroughPower made a shorter/similar statement before me.
