I can see why people are confused about it. It's obviously a stage set, and it's obviously meant to look like it's shot from inside the Oval Office or somewhere similar. But it's really poorly done.

We're used to the Auditorium shots having that dark blue curtain background with the beige carpet.

I'm pretty sure this set was built for biden. I'm not sure why they felt the need to re-do it, other than wanting to make it look more "Presidential".

But I understand why people are thinking that it looks shady. It's a horrible set.
