The answers that come to mind are that we are made in His image where angels are not. Perhaps with his spirit in us we are more equipped than angels. So many questions push me back to my limited understanding and the need to just trust in Him and His promises. All will be revealed eventually. However, even in this failed state of humanity I have witnessed enough to know He is unfailing. He has already given me so much more than I deserve, more than ever possible for me to repay. God is good.
