As elements combine to create organic compounds, and organic compounds combine to create cellular life, and cellular life combines to create animals, would it not be reasonable to expect that there are further layers above the one that we perceive? It seems to me that there is no particular evidence suggesting that we sit at the very top of this chain of nested systems, other than personal bias.

So with the advent of large scale analytics and quantum AI, I suspected that we would start to see what appeared to be coherent entities emerge from the data. And then I see the military put out this video, which appears to speak directly to the notion of unseen entities hiding in the data.
