Usually in more conservative small town USA, idiots are arrested faster and held in jail or get harsher charges due to charge’s being up to the local law enforcement, DA., and judges. Plus local small town people tend to have a history of actung faster in being more self armed/using country shotgun justice. This is why these same groups/gangs don’t do these things outside of blue cities or states except by secret at night…hence the destruction of food manufacturing places and farms at night with little no large amounts cameras footage or persons caught doing it. They fear shotgun justice, because 90% of most farmers will certainly shoot at a fool for night trespassing! I’ve lived in farming communities all my life. The amount of and type of crime that even takes place is dwarfed not because of population, but because of fear and shame installed by said same community and law enforcement system.
