One thing I liked was his teasing us with, "standing tall against the storm." Then exactly one sentence later he says, "my fellow Americans."

Also for the first time I noticed he mentioned how "the pause" was a good thing. Meaning that his period of time out of office gave us insight and perspective on how badly the country can be destroyed by liberals. And he's right, if he had served two terms back to back we wouldn't realize just how crooked the Democrats are, and how deep and putrid the swamp has been for so long.

My last take from the speech was how he stands firm on the position that China is fully responsible for the covid pandemic. My intuition is that this allows the public's disgust to build up about any party that would create a pandemic for political reasons. In this case there's no resistance to hating China for it. At some time in the future a mental pivot will be easier and that fully developed disgust and hatred will be turned fully on Fauci and Pharma for being the ones truly behind it.
