Yeah, I am not a fan of Juan O'Savin. I am interested in this case in spite of his limited involvement. In reality, he has nothing to do with the case, so it seems safe to just ignore him... which I am getting pretty good at doing.

Today, the supreme court has set a conference date for the 9 justices to vote on the petition. If 4 justices vote yes, then the petition will proceed to a hearing and be argued before the SC.
I don't know the date of the conference that was set. Friday would be the earliest, but they have other conference dates next week as well. It is possible that the petition has been sealed, and if so will not show up in the normal SC calendars, etc.
