Until gene therapy arrives at a point where they can edit their DNA and chromosomes to become biological females with a functional uterus and inheritable female genes, they're still biologically male.

Once you manage to permanently alter karyotype though? Well, then it's still down to personal preference.

Do you want to have sex with someone who has had gene therapy? For any reason? Even if it's to correct a medical condition like type 1 diabetes? Am I discriminatory if I don't want be with a natural born female that had a genetic condition that could cause my children to have downs syndrome, even if said condition has been corrected?
