If a movie was to be used to describe our plight, this one (Day The Earth Stood Still) is a very good one. The Bible also provides very good lessons to learn from. All too often pain, terror, and oppression seems to be the curse repeated in the Bible for change to occur. It is also these stories of blessings and curses that ought to be readily acknowledged. We never want the later to happen, but out of our stubbornness and hubris to living our lives on our own terms without the direction of God tends to always set us in this position. It's like the fallen dead wood that accumulates on the forest floor. One spark and the entire forest is set ablaze. Failure to do obey His Laws always ends in ruin. It is the dead wood that accumulates. We are no better now than in the distant past. Believing we are so more advanced than people living 2000 years ago is the biggest delusion of this modern age. The technology is meaningless when it comes to the soul and spirit. The answer is to return to obeying these Laws. Evil presents itself in many ways. Not any evil should ever be permitted. No two tier form of justice can ever stand. Evil must be rooted out of all levels of government.
