We're past that point with them, we've showed them the VAERS data, we've shown them the European hospital numbers of vaccinated... it's all just fake news to them until they see it on their almighty big screen in the living room.

It also doesn't help that this employee is in the E.R. and they're about to intubate her unless she makes a turn for the better quick, it may be a false positive, but she is very sick - which just adds to the paranoia of these libs.

They just go through all the MSM talking points... "Breakthrough Cases" "Delta Variant" ... the whole bullshit narrative that we are all fighting

We're not even symptomatic, so I tried to work the "no asymptomatic spread" angle with them, to no avail

You would assume he would ask me to take off for work as well, given his concern over Thanksgiving dinner.... but no, he still expects me and all my staff at work on Friday

This is my Grandmother, Father, Mother, Sister, Brother-In-Law, Neice, 3 cousins, 3 second cousins, 2 Aunts and 1 Uncle.

We WERE a tight nit family, until Covid came along

Tough part about cutting ties is that I help manage our family business with them, that I built up with my grandfather, who has now passed, but I feel obligated to keep what he created going and I also feel obligated to protect our staff and their families through these crazy times.

Unfortunately, my Father and Uncle, both crazy libs, inherited the CEO position from my grandfather and are not making the proper decisions for the company.... but if I can just hang in there long enough to get the CEO seat, I can steer this company toward a brighter future.

You may be right though, leaving it all behind may be the correct choice

I didn't offer up my employees information, the local hospital called the company owner, who is my father, to inform him of the positive case at his business, he then proceeded to uninvite my immediate family because he thought I had exposure while at work.

I'm a good manager and know better than to share my employees medical information with anyone!

Maybe you should drop his contact info here for some pedes that may be in need of legal assistance, based lawyers can be hard to find!

Happy Thanksgiving to you both!

This will be our first with just our household, Thanksgiving dinner has always been at Grandma's house with the whole family gathered around the table, I'm hoping this goes well and it may be the new normal!

They've never been afraid before Covid, dinner at Grandma's house on Thanksgiving was pretty much required, if you missed it then you'd regret it... but now they are terrified of allowing my household around Grandma because we are unvaccinated... she's 86 years old too and lives out of town so some years Thanksgiving is the only day she gets to see all the grand kids... sad times indeed

I think I just raised my expectations for Thanksgiving because of this, we may only have one day to prep an entire meal, but we're going to do our best to make our Thanksgiving better than theirs

God, that would be the cherry on top of this mess!

Without us, everyone in attendance will be vaccinated, so if one of them got Covid then their beliefs would quickly start to crumble

No social media for me, GAW is all I need, but my Wife still has a Facebook and we'll be sure to show them the good time we have without them

We run a family business together, my father is the president of the company and the local hospital informed him he had a staff member test positive in the building I manage, so he assumed I had direct exposure and said my household couldn't attend Thanksgiving at Grandma's house

I didn't tell them, the damn local hospital told my father, who is the President of our family business... I guess they report all active Covid cases to the person's employer now

We run a family business together, word travels quick, and my crazy family makes sure to stay VERY up to date on the active covid cases at our company

It's their loss, my Wife is the best cook in the family!

Without her, that dinner is going to suck and I'll be eating like a king

Let us not forget that Ric Grenell was showing as the president on Google immediately after the election results, that was strange and this is also strange
