You present a valid point and that does happen...don't have an answer for you outside of have to bank on likelihood they are who they say they are and are not impostors. But yes happens all the time in robberies now.

Big 2nd amendment supporter but respectfully disagree here. I would easily argue over 50% of the time citizen with gun drawn when officer approaching is in the wrong. Her's the thing; why have gun drawn? You know when you draw that weapon all bets are off.
To say they should be able to react in that split second is madness...cops have a heard enough job as is. So many on here trash them, screw it I stand for them, greater than 50% are good. Always a couple bad apples but the majority still good. My point is, it is impossible to have us play Monday morning quarterback in these situations. Play stupid games win dumb prizes. Sure some will down vote me but without the law were would we be...sorry. I will always support the law as opposed to lawlessness. Quite frankly sick of all the vitreal towards cops, they have a hard job, lets stop sH*&ting on them constantly.

That was my first thought, but still doesn't give them an excuse to crawl through red lights. Thought for sure someone was going to be killed, should have gotten the license plate. But clogging up the left lane obvious to people behind them too.
At some point you think you'd be able to figure it out english speaking or not. Cars are getting angry and passing me at a high rate of speed...hmm...maybe I should move over..nope.

Makes sense, been to TX many times but not within last couple years. Definitely has come for circle to PA. Such a shame.

Eh they are pretty bad too. I mean no shortage of irresponsible drivers, the ones I've seen lately though all were going slow and ignoring any and all traffic signals.

Maybe, my only question is why answer door with pistol in hand when he announces sheriff department. If you don't think its sheriff department don't answer door. If you did, put pistol down so they can't deem you a threat.

This doesn't add up for trained military to respond like that unless was out of instinct or fear because he would have known outcome of answering door with gun in hand.

Very odd. She seemed unsure of room then gives 1401. However, my question is why would Air force Airman answer door with pistol in hand if he had heard Sheriff's department? Surely he knew that this would pose an imminent threat? Only 2 logical conclusions:

  1. Cop reacted to someone opening door with pistol, no foul play on his end. Play dumb games win stupid prizes.
  2. it was a hit, he was expecting someone to be coming for him and didn't trust it was actually the sheriff's department

or 2 unlikely ones: 1a) somehow he didn't hear sheriff's department and just opened door for whatever reason (very unlikely) 1b) No clue, as to why but maybe he wasn't thinking and grabbed his gun in self defense as a reaction out of instinct when opening the door for sheriff's department.

Know many are roasting the cop but this just seems very odd; what was the cop supposed to do, wait for him to fire first. Tough spot for him to be in flying solo and stepping into that situation.

Sorry to hear about your wife; glad she was ok and just sounds like more and more situations like this. Like you said yours was 18 years ago and can only imagine how much more common this is today.
I was trying to dig up research on whether there is an increase in insurance costs due to uninsured illegals but couldn't find anything except reddit posts, opinions etc. I feel like they are surpassing that data to control the narrative.

It's sad, seeing the same trend near me. It's an invasion; they know what they are doing...all about votes and control.

Didn't even account for the Vaxxed...all five of these points are spot on.

I agree; many self prophesying Christians out there. I pray he comes to the light but lots of evidence would suggest otherwise. Still, God is good and anything is possible through Him so praying I am wrong.

Exactly, whole book of Ecclesiastes covers your second one. So much knowledge in the Bible. I pray you pick it up again Fren!

Bit of a stretch here but if you take the three b's in build back better almost looks like 3 6's to me. bbb & 666 not too far off.

Biden ran under this same build back better slogan & we know symbolism will be there downfall (also confirms where his orders are coming from). Google has the same 666 in their logo. There are no coincidences.

Yes, to some of the other points above even the people we would least expect are capable of cheating. The world is pitted against us, especially with social media, technology making things available through a click. Regardless of whether she is or isn't is irrelevant; if you love each other you can work through it but her acknowledging is first step and you forgiving. Will be a lot to work through but if she is once the excitement wears off she likely will see error of her ways. Even if she isn't, there is obviously something causing that block. So you all need to identify and address it; again my experience is a pastor is a great place to start, not a therapist as they often are just as good if not better at breaking people up than bringing them back together.

Been where you are; I would strongly advise sitting down with your Pastor before anything else for guidance here. God works in wonderful ways; trust in Him. I can 100% say that I came out of the other end of it; and at times I did not think it would be possible. This was all before I was a believer, didn't have a family etc. God brought all of these things into my life after and I couldn't be happier for the path I was put on.

Perhaps your marriage can be saved (despite it looking like it can't be) but just trust in Him. You will get through this; you will find a way to make ends meet, and you will find peace and happiness again.

Now is the time to stand up as a man and demonstrate true love and strength for your daughter as you go through these tough times. I can assure you that you will be so much better for it on the end and will find so much more growth. Keep reading the Bible; you will realize while this life is important; what's to come after is so much more valuable and it really puts things in perspective. I will pray for you and your family.
