In the blue state of Colorado, where cases are rising, Democrat Governor Jared Polis has been a reliable leftist, dating back to when he served with Nancy Pelosi in the House.
However, when pressed by the corporate-controlled media about enacting further restrictions, Polis made a jaw dropping statement, responding that “the emergency is over.”
Polis then announced that he will not institute another statewide mask mandate in response to Omicron.
“You know, public health [officials] don’t get to tell people what to wear; that’s just not their job,” declared Polis. “Public health [officials] would say to always wear a mask because it decreases flu and decreases [other airborne illnesses]. But that’s not something that you require; you don’t tell people what to wear,” he added.
“You don’t tell people to wear a jacket when they go out in winter and force them to [wear it],” concluded Polis.
Unfortunately, Polis doesn’t oppose mask mandates put in place by local health authorities.
But Polis is the latest Democrat Governor to push back against Fauci’s COVID restrictions.
After leading one of the harshest lockdowns in the country, Michigan Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer is now questioning Biden’s vaccine mandate.
And more Democrat Governors opposing COVID restrictions could signal the beginning of the end of Fauci’s power grab.
