I am an American and I went to university there. It's definitely the crown jewel of the Baltics. I was already anti-commie when I went there but the time there made me move past Pinochet on the anti commie spectrum. It's one thing to read stories. It is quite another to have to hear the stories of the people who suffered under the USSR.
I hate my job so going in everyday is my cross to bear if it keeps me afloat while we hold the line. I tried to watch Dr. Parnassus the other night but I couldn't make it past 20 minutes. I started to feel physically sick.
I came across a show called Black Sun that takes place in 1930's Serbia and it goes full into the sacrifices and cult shennanigans that the Cabal gets up to. Was very surprising to see.
