Our society often seems quick to seek out a supplement or a super concentrated form of something. I look to the ancient Greeks - "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food". A natural source of NAC is the common onion - one onion a day would equal the dose of NAC found in most of these studies. Fresh pineapple and pineapple juice contain bromelain just as dried pineapple does. So if you want to mimic what was done in the study just eat 1 onion and a serving of pineapple once per day. So many dishes contain onion it's easy to incorporate it.
This needs to be talked about more. I refused it for my newborn and they sent 2 doctors in to question me as to why I would refuse. I asked if my baby was at risk for getting infected with Hep B and they both got a blank stare and said "no" and that instantly ended the conversation. If someone just CONFRONTS them with common sense instead of being sheep they don't know what to do. It breaks their software
