Update: Avast antivirus is blocking "authentication.win", because it has a infected with URL Phishing. So any time GA tries to authenticate your Username and PW, you get blocked. I hope someone gets this fixed soon. I hate turning off shields to log on. Although it seems that once authenticated everything is fine till you need to re authenticated\ and it starts all over again.

I had the same problem, wouldn't load in Firefox, it did nothing like GAW didn't exist. No messages or anything. Opened Chrome, got a message that this site is blocked as unsafe, "phishing site", by my antivirus Program. I disabled antivirus, loaded Firefox, came here and it is working. I've re enabled antivirus and it is still working. Never had that happen before.
