I'm glad that SCOTUS has relaxed its definition of standing in recent years to allow these kinds of cases.
With a liberal court, this graphic artist would have had to be arrested and charged with violating Colorado law, placing a significant obstacle to anyone trying to address a bad law - basically, you have to be a criminal first.
With the current court, you can just sue the government for a bad law and appeal when the lower court denies.
This. I work at a big tech company (remote, from a mountain valley ranch in Tennessee), and management does not get how few people there are out there that meet these diversity hire requirements that are qualified.
It's like that "female delusion calculator" that says "You're looking for a 6' tall non obese man that makes over $100k. That is 0.5% of the male population."
Similarly: "If we are looking for a nonwhite female computer engineer 10-15 years of experience that is top 0.5% of her field and hasn't gone into management, there are only around 28 of them on the planet. Good luck." So management just hires whoever instead of actually trying to find one of the 28. Toxic.
The real galaxy brain moment is not that realizing the "public health institutions have failed", it is that "public health institutions were designed from the beginning intentionally to poison and control us, and we are just now realizing this".
Gold doesn't do shit for your currency stability if no one wants to buy the shit you make.
