I don't think he was tipped off per se, although that could be the case. Trump himself admitted it was a last minute decision to go golfing yesterday. The whole world knows his primary residence is one of the world's luxury golf resorts and that he plays regularly. And that he was in town over the weekend. Whatever tech the civilian sector uses, it's between 25-50 yrs (maybe even longer now) behind whatever the U.S. Govt has already R&D'd and perfected, as well as a perfected method of defeat before the "dumbed down version" goes to a civilian company for marketed use. The crazy thing is, is that in a lot of cases, the govt will pipeline some technologies to certain civilian companies in a way that makes the scientists and engineers at those companies believing that the ideas were theirs and theirs alone.
