See what I don’t get is the religious exemptions being “denied” by companies. I have read through the EEOC website too many times now and it’s pretty clear that when you file a religious exemption you are notifying your employer that you are exempt from whatever the policy is they have and then they offer a way to accommodate you. I worked for three different (very liberal) universities back when this went down and one accommodated me by having me wear a face shield instead of mask (for the mask on campus rule) and just said fine for the jab, another accommodated me by switching the modality of my courses to online, the third didn’t know what they were doing and cancelled my courses and I was going to report them to the EEOC for retaliation but ran out of time.
Also percentages are meaningless with this. If there are two “cases” one week and there are 3 the next, well my rate of cases has increased 50%(!) which makes for good fear mongering but neither are any actual cause for concern.
Been getting interested in the homeschool idea lately, how goes the planning?
I am trying to get my work to be more remote and asynchronous based and down to less hours so I could homeschool and still have a decent income.
A good habit to also get into is for everyone to stop referring to them as “public schools” they are Government Schools.
They are based on the factory model to limit mental growth and train well behaved order following laborers for the elite.
Ours goes to a small private school, it costs money though not extreme and they teach everything schools used to teach before the woke wave crashed over the Government Schools.
Great example of the media being the enemy of the people, it leads with “in a defeat of gay rights” instead of the truth which would be “in a win for religious freedom of all Americans”.
Gay people have lost no “rights” with this ruling, if anyone says so ask them what right, exactly, did they lose? Much like the baker case, there is no “right to target a person based on their faith to try to force them to do something they disagree with while skipping over hundreds of other people who do the same service and are happy to do it for you”, which amendment was that again?…
Christians accept and love our gay brethren while still knowing they have sinned, these misguided churches go astray by supporting and promoting the sinning. It’s like accepting and loving a family member who has an addiction to something, as a Christian we still love and accept them but we don’t pretend it’s good for them or offer them the source of their addiction. Love is Jesus’ teaching, it’s what we have to give, judgement is not ours to give, that is for God only.
As a descendent of Irish immigrants my family never owned slaves but were slaves themselves. Why again should I be worshipping black folks? If anything we are brothers in arms against those that enslaved BOTH our ancestors.
I’ll add that this is different from the perspective of the “normies” because they are now working to make the pride stuff about transgenders, with their whole “tuck-friendly” bathing suits etc. Even regular people know that pride stuff isn’t about trannies, my gay friends are also boycotting target because they feel target is betraying them and stealing something that is theirs and just handing it over to the trannies. All my gay friends also consider trans to be a form of mental illness, or the more polite ones will say they are “confused”.
Boomerang.
This is also not the first time she’s had it if I recall correctly.
