the patent shows that the federal government atleast attempted to secure the vote by using the us postal service which makes a lot of sense as it is local to every single community across the country. im not advocating one way or another for or against the use of blockchain tech, I am saying u cannot keep a persons identity on file with their vote so using block chain technically would keep all info of the voter except name and still document the transaction like how bitcoin and ethereal currency works. I'm not an expert on block chain but am familiar enough to understand the implications if this patent is real
