Precisely. I worked FOR a union for the first 10 years of my career, and therefore had to be IN a different professional union by virtue of holding that position. My employing organization was staffed by some of the most dishonest and corrupt leaders I've come across in my entire career...who spent ALL of their time lying to, and gaslighting, the membership. Not to mention, pissing away and living large off of all of those membership dues. It was disgusting. I see little need for unions any longer in the 21st century.
