I think the Gamestop plan has been many years in the making (5-10 years, maybe longer) by taking on debt to bait SHFs. Then their play re: share buy backs in 2019 to reduce outstanding shares and later--their ~5 million share offering in 2021 to raise capital and eliminate debt is like a master strategy play.
If Gamestop continues in the direction we think it's going--at worst it's going to be one of the most masterful examples of modern-day business strategy. At best... the sky's the limit. Perhaps it's a military spec-op strategy. Perhaps it's a God-inspired strategy.

It's how I got into GME. Listened to the tendieman meme song by Sage. I then looked at his collabs, and found a Christian power rangers song which essentially described spiritual warfare. I think God is planting people with the most unexpected backgrounds to fight an unconventional war with the most unconventional and unexpected means.

I'm an amateur too. Here's my take...
First question -- nothing, but how will the difference between what the brokers keep in records vs. the DTCC be reconciled? It will just prove the DTCC is not doing their job which will give Gamestop legal reason to remove their shares from the DTCC. If the brokers also fudge their books, then they would also be willfully doing something illegal against their customers.
Second question -- I believer the lenders of last resort goes something like hedge funds, underwriting banks, DTCC, then the Fed. Might not be totally accurate, but the concept is that at the end of the day, the Fed will be on the hook once everything fails.
My hope for the ultimate end game is decentralized finance and the end of the federal reserve (and hopefully, central banks globally) and maybe replaced by a rules based currency that keeps the purchasing power of 1 unit stable with no inflation and no deflation.
Of course, moon-tickets will be nice to have and I still expect them!

Oh yah, I was thinking that. I think NFTs run on blockchains which are number crunched by computers which are awarded crypto. Therefore decentralization of not just currency (via crypto) but almost all management/tracking of assets (via NFTs). Blockchains need to carry on with the number crunching to facilitate movement/tracking/execution of assets which is why crypto/NFTs go hand in hand. And crypto will then have a value aside from speculation since crypto will be representative of units of work that facilitate the running of the real world economy.
Just speculation. I'm also not well learned with crypto so I could be totally off with how it all truly works!
Collapse of fiat currencies. NFTs tied to assets in economies and the coin(s) behind each region's respective NFT blockchain will be the currency.
I don't actually understand what I said, but Central banks gotta be done with in order for the Cabal to go down. But banking still has to happen so I could imagine decentralized finance that's transparent would take the place of central banking. A man can dream, I guess! 🚀
