“You almost were a boy! Out you popped out of your Mommy’s tumpkin, and they said it’s a boy without a winkle! And I said, God be praised, a boy without a winkle! And then they said a boy without a winkle is a girl.” https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=h1dxZ8srDM4

Just for shits & giggles, I looked up “can a goose break your arm” and the internet did not disappoint.

“Can a goose break your arm? Swans, geese and other large waterfowl are all capable of breaking every bone in your body and also causing you to be burned beyond recognition. They can do this to hundreds of people at once. All they need to do is clog up the jets of an aeroplane, causing it to crash.”

This is exactly it. I’ve had a theory since the start of Covid that one of the biggest things we’re dealing with re:normies is their fear of death. People can crap all over religion all they want, but it helps people deal with death and dying. As a culture, we’ve segregated death to the point where people never see it or have to think about if they don’t want to. And then we tell them that there is no God, or God is whatever they want it to be, and wonder why people wander around lost. Historically, families were aware and present when older members passed away. It was something they were familiar with. We no longer pay attention to the dying and generally look to dispose of them with as little hassle as possible. One of the questions I keep asking Covid believers (vaxxers, whatever you want to call them): why is it ok for someone to die of ANYTHING ELSE other than Covid? They’re totally fine with people dying from heart attacks, flu, euthanasia, abortion, murder, suicide, etc, but NO ONE should EVER die from Covid!

This is a severely under-upvoted comment. People are already grieving. Saying, “I TOLD YOU SO” is technically true, but unnecessarily cruel (imho).

I feel you, friend. We have 6 nieces, all young and in their early 20s, who all went out and got vaxxed. Strangely, the nephews didn’t, but they’ve always been the rebels (and not in a good way).

The pain and grief people are going through is real, and tragic. I’m glad to hear this baby is sticking in there!
It needs to be said, too, that the fear mongering doctors are doing with pregnant women even WITHOUT mentioning the vaccine is borderline INSANE. One friend has a baby who weighed (estimated, because they have to guesstimate with ultrasound measurements) a quarter pound less than the target weight for her gestational age. They told my friend that her baby was too small (using percentiles instead of weight in the discussion) and had a small abdominal circumference for her age. The doctor then told her that she needed to start coming in every 2 weeks for ultrasounds (Doppler and/or growth), and, hey, maybe they should consider delivering the baby at 32 weeks because, hey, maybe there’s placental insufficiency (but blood flows are looking good). Oh, and maybe they should go to WEEKLY ultrasounds. But the doctor told her the “goal” was to get her to 37 weeks and then induce or c-section. My friend was at 28 weeks when this craziness was suggested. If friend had knee-jerked and reacted, she would have delivered a premie who then would need about 2 months in the hospital because she was too tiny.

This is the leading healthcare provider in our state.

The problem is that any of this immediately is slanted as “white culture” having ruined “black culture”.
Black people, just like most every one else, want to live in peace and contribute to their community, but the “black culture” driven by gangster rap and mental slavery runs deep. When they can get out of that, they are fantastic neighbors and friends.

I went to school with a black guy who was fairly talented mechanically.
His -family- (his freaking FAMILY) pressured him into resigning from a promising internship, straight out of high school, with promotion potential, starting at $40k + benefits, because they said he was “acting too white” and he needed to “be more black”. That was verbatim the reason they gave him. So he went to work for a Sprint kiosk or something making somewhere around $9/hr and ended up living in the ghetto. Where he could “be black”.

But back to the point of your post:

  • the amazing Thomas Sowell
  • the compassionate Ben Carson
  • the seriously underrated Frederick Douglass And I’m sure a bunch more others that I can’t think of right now.

I always was drawn to black women because my mom was cold and withholding, and black ladies seem to be gifted with a natural warmth. Ladies and their ways... God bless ‘me!

Omg, this. People are more than their sexuality, just like they’re more than the color of their skin. The idea that you have to be solely identified and ranked/rated/valued based on your sexuality is unbelievably shallow.

Southerners were portrayed as idiots after they lost the American Civil War. Robert E. Lee, usually portrayed as a horrid racist, fought on behalf of the South largely in part because he wouldn’t fight against his home state of Virginia. That’s a sizable loyalty. Honor and loyalty was and still is a good portion of Southern culture. Places in the South still consider a verbal agreement to be legally binding (I think this is primarily a Southern thing, but I could be wrong.)

Northerners seem to willingly misunderstand the South because it’s easier than understanding the nuances. I have friends who have moved down from Northern states, and what I hear a lot of is “Southerners are just so fake, they only act nice to your face. At least up North we tell is like it is.” But, really, are Northerners just mistaking rudeness for honesty?

I can say “so-and-so is dead”, and it’s true, or I could say it in a gentler way that’s softer to the hearer, and I think it’s that subtle consideration of the other person that makes Southerners a little kinder.

Plus, you have to factor in religion. If you’re an asshole on the inside, God knows and you’re not really fooling anyone.

Too many people hear Southern twang and assume it equals stupid or unsophisticated because they won’t/can’t be bothered to see the person.

Thanks for sharing! This is a lovely welcoming letter and congrats!!
I had family that came over from Europe in the early 1900s. They came to America knowing zero English. They loved America and were so proud to be here that they insisted their kids only speak English - because they were Americans now, and that’s what Americans do! LOL They still argued in their original language, so the kids picked up some of it. Good people can come from anywhere. Glad to have you!

You have to GMO a bunch of shit to make it LOOK and act and taste like beef because eating cows is bad and unnatural... but the GMOing is totally good for you. The logic is so absent from this argument. No one cares if they’re vegan! Good luck, fren!
