Nice! Thank you so much I'll add that to the post for newbies (and people like me who rarely understands what's going on)

Oh, so you've actually seen it there recently? Maybe using it to train someone? This is super interesting, thank you so much for adding in

Holy crap I have no idea how I missed that! Thank you!!

It's good to have knowledge from every side, I'll do some digging and see what I cans find out. In the meantime this is a comprehensive list of callsigns. Again, they're fairly loose and this might not be fully accurate but it helps a lot when you first start!

They are actually Making new AF1s right now, so I'm not sure they'd put a ton of work into these guys at this point unless they need it, and I know they're kept in tip top shape

San Antonio is the maintenance headquarters for the current Air Force One jets. You need highly qualified and vetted people to get anywhere near her.

It was a Coast Guard patrol after a plane had crashed into the ocean. I don't know enough about the no fly zones on 'former' POTUS to tell if this was meaningful :( https://www.local10.com/news/local/2021/01/25/reports-small-plane-crashes-in-boynton-beach-coast-guard-searching-ocean/

Forgive me here, I'm still learning a lot, but how can you tell it was the downtown airport and not the base? The tracker I found it on only picked it up once it was in the air, so it looks like it could come from either to my untrained eyes. https://i.maga.host/GTCjoR2.png

Hi, welcome aboard I'm pretty new, too :) So a VENUS callsign indicates a SAM (Special Air Mission) coming out of Andrews without a VIP aboard. But callsigns are pretty loose, at least in comparison to other parts of the plane info. It 'indicates' but it doesn't guarantee in any way. Since there were a few of the AF2 planes in the air with Venus callsigns over the last two days and their air pattern seems to be variable, I think they might be running new staff or new routes with the new admin. Please correct me if I'm wrong anyone, I'm not military.

This is all public knowledge, some of it is pretty hard to find, but the deep state has deep pockets and an agent at every base guaranteed. This is silly stuff to them. They can easily disappear if they want to.

Besides, there's definitely things posted in element and other forums that's a little more hush hush.

Since I have you here :) why do you think AF1 was at Sheppard? https://www.radarbox.com/data/registration/92-9000

Oh nice! I love adding details like this, thank you. So is it fairly normal to run 3 big groups of T38s at separate bases at once? Or is it just a coincidence?

THERE are MULTIPLE groups of 15 or so military planes doing coordinated movements across the country right now. Alabama, Mississippi and two places in Texas. Mass training drill? Or something bigger. Daily plane thread

The AF1 and AF2 callsigns have yet to go up, so they haven't touched those planes

Thank you! I'm uncertain about TFRs so I really appreciate the help

Daily plane post: https://greatawakening.win/p/11SK2VsOS8/daily-plane-post-125/ almost 20 helicopters up around Alabama. National guard? More are being added now!

AF1 and 2 AF2 planes flew today with VENUS (no vip) callsigns. The AF1 had its reg number as a callsign, to be fair. Flight crew may have turned over and now they're running practice/drills?

It came up from the south and cleared over all of the island land there. I am in no ways a FL native, so I easily have this wrong. I thought it was interesting that it flew what I thought was really close to POTUS assuming he's still a no-fly zone. Thank you for responding!

here's one of the flight paths https://www.radarbox.com/data/flights/C6590

It's a long standing tradition for AF1 pilots to retire or change positions in the military with a new POTUS, so through that lens this is easily a training flight. However, the low fly and the flight pattern is a bit odd, especially since it didn't put up a VENUS callsign, which would indicate NO VIP aboard and that's what the AF2s have been doing today/yesterday

2
itsdazzling 2 points ago +2 / -0

They've been running VENUS flights, that's the callsign when no VIP is onboard. Possible training

San Antonio seeing an abundance of tex2 and T38 action https://www.radarbox.com/@28.60146,-98.00931,z8

One of the AF2s flew low out of DC an hour ago using a VENUS callsign which usually indicates No VIP onboard flight

Lots of T38 activity in TX

Thank you, I really appreciate the perspective I'm not so good with TFRs.
