Most of the Israelites of the apostle's day converted to Christ. They did not renounce their heritage. The new testament teaches the importance of that heritage. Christianity is the Hebrew religion with a savior. Judaism is Phariseeism and came from Babylon. Its only connection to the Hebrew religion is that its leaders looked at the Hebrew religion and created "laws" to circumvent all of it. You are correct the "jews" who would not convert hated Christ as scripture teaches. They were mostly of Edomite heritage. It is really good that you recognize that many in the older scriptures were actually "Christians" in attitude and their lives. I avoid the words Gentile and Jew since they really aren't found in the Greek or Hebrew texts. Gentile is simply the word Nations. The context determines the who. Most of the time it is Israel, at least the ten tribes off in Europe. In the older scriptures "Jew" is really Judah or Judahite. All that we are going through as a nation only has one root cause. God only punishes his people. When we start obeying God's Law, the Law removes all of the evil. All of it. That is why they infiltrated all of the churches to teach the Law is done away, the rapture and all the other distractions. Judaism came from Babylon. The Hebrew religion became Christianity. God made this beautiful world including all of the races. Then God said that everything He made was good. It is sad that much of Christianity has been taught that either God made a mistake or that the races or preferring your own is some how evil. Correct, but the bible twice tells us to read it. Too bad that it is not complete. You have a world view of what the churches teach. This view is very new, last few hundred years or so. Read the scripture and get into the Greek. If you pray to see the truth you may start seeing something very different. As is you believe what those who hate Christ want you to believe. We were taught to ignore or "spiritualize" many verses. Spiritualizing a verse destroys what God said. It is a convenient way to make the bible say almost anything politically correct today. There are two possibilities with that, but Moses knew it was a sin and would not have had intercourse with the woman from another race. First Ethiopians in the days of Moses were not the same people. In the Hebrew and Greek the word translated adultery includes the meaning of miscegenation. It is a death penalty offence. It destroys both races involved. It is not taught anymore as a means to destroy one particular race.
