Hacking someone's wallet is not the same as hacking the Bitcoin protocol. Bitcoin itself has never been hacked in its ~12 years existence. And now with the amount of hash power on the network it's pretty much impossible.

I am not saying that the companies don't have tremendous power. But to say that they outright OWN all those companies is factually incorrect.

OK I hear this a lot about Vanguard and BlackRock "owning" all these companies. This is just false. They are asset managers and they manage 401Ks, mutual funds, pension funds, etc. which are OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY. Vanguard and BlackRock just take management fees. They do not own the underlying companies.

I gave up in NYC trying to make a point about the card when going to restaurants. Majority of servers / hostesses have no clue and it just creates an argument for no reason. They are the lowest in the totem pole and they don't make the rules.

I have tried it 3 times (about 3 days apart). Have not felt any difference good or bad so I guess that's fine lol.
