No way this administration declares martial law. That would upset the apple cart, and the revenue stream, and would be a proper tipping point.
They still fear us, and know that we are HEAVILY armed; outnumber them ten to one, and are willing to die on this hill.
Personally, I think that the VAST majority of armed forces won't fire on their own homes, and families, on our own soil. It's a hard fucking row to hoe, when you have to fire on innocent Americans, especially if you know them.

Diesels are MASSIVELY underrated by Americans. I still think it stems from the 70s/80s clusterfuck GM perpetrated trying to put diesels in Oldsmobiles.
