Father that was protesting the "policy violation" says everyone was forced to get off (his video in the Tweet). Somewhere in the interim they got their shit together and everyone was allowed back on except the abusive flight attendant.

(paraphrase from video)

How do you cash an $864,000 check at a pawn shop?

Same here. Last time I watched broadcast or cable TV on the regular it was when I lived with my parents. I’ve not had TV service for more than 15 years and don’t regret it a bit.

50% garbage, 50% commercials.

The fact you have an exception to rescind means you fucked up a long time ago. If the rules can’t apply to everyone equally they shouldn’t be applied.

What was that the other day about SAT scores? ~”Asians penalized 50 points and Blacks boosted 200 points”? In my profession that’s altering the truth and taking on a responsibility you shouldn’t.

You can be what you wanna be, but remember who you answer to. If you’re living the life of an infidel, and your god says “no infidels” you gotta square that at some point.

And by that I mean: “I agree. I’m not (the) one to judge.”

Remember the Q post that said "the first one would shock you" or something to that effect? First one or not, I, personally, have been seeing all manner of celebrity and name I thought wouldn't've been part of such things are showing they've been "quietly" involved with either ultra-weird shit or borderline/actual Satanism...

Edit: watched the news blip where she and cohorts where interviewed ... effin' madness. Given over to demonic forces - madness...

I know, right! Without a "frontpage.win" they're just changing the ranking of that individual post within GA, if at all.

MAYBE if GA.win is being crawled by search engines it might be a thing if GA hides low threshold posts to non-logged-in users.

I like to check my fake internet points to see if what I post gets a high score, but then I (mentally?) slap myself and move on.

I once built a new machine 8 or so years after the release of Windows 98. I decided to install it on this new bare metal machine to see how long it would take.

What once took 45+ minutes on Windows ‘98’s recommended hardware took 11 minutes on tech in 2007; semi-impressive. It was also semi-unstable and unpredictable.

I grew up on an air base ('81 - '92). There was a sign somewhere on the public side of the perimeter that said something to the effect of ~"Pardon our noise. That's the sound of freedom".

I miss that sound.

Now I’m recalling Quagmire’s question to Peter: “Does this look like a ‘Q’ to you?”

Exclusive options during character creation. I hear you can pick the other option up later in life, though, through various means.

What can we say.. we got the itch!

I've not had TV service (antenna or otherwise) since 2003-ish. We do have a little weather radio, though. THAT at least said it was a test. The phone alert didn't mention "test" at all.

We were all ready to hit the road here then we saw the sunny clear blue skies and no alerts for our area on weather.gov.

Poor lady with 7 kinds in her house was ready to roll out.. saw them all filing back in hand-in-hand in a chain.

I admit, I was hyped, confused, and ready for big news.

Ahh, nuts..

But.. unless the posted date is updated with the updated "ago" time.. how did they get this article so thoroughly written in 2 minutes?

Looking at the time in the page code it looks like the original posted time was 9:10AM.

I was all hyped and confused and ready for big news, too.

Saint Louis-ish here. Clear skies, cold temperatures, not the first Monday, not 9AM.

Not that the latter two mean anything, but definitely atypical.

2
theReallyRealRJ 2 points ago +2 / -0

It does to a degree. However, it’s not the first Monday and it’s not 9AM.

AND there have been at least 3(?) sent out so far. AND the monthly testing of the sirens (in our area at least) has never been accompanied by a phone alert.

Edit: sorry, kinda half-read your comment - trying to listen to the radio alert at the same time.

“Peckermunch” isn’t on the list, nor my old standby: “dickneck” (if you can have the head, you gotta have the neck to support it, right?).

Seems like publishing a list is just asking the public’s creative department to get involved.

Because I'm kinda dumB with a capital 'B', do you have an article/how-to on which providers support this? I'm not finding anything reliable with that number code that explains how it works.
