Absolutely eloquently stated. I'm in the same boat as you and so many others. Millions of us are hanging on by our fingernails just trying to keep it together. All we can do is pray and keep our nose to the grindstone for our family and it seems to be gut punch after gut punch. It's exhausting and infuriating. Not to mention the wedge this covid crap is driving between families and neighbors and buisneses. I've seen so may posts here about families being divided because some got the vaccine and some didn't. Our family which is supposed to be our support structure and inspiration has been ripped away from a lot of people because of this. Its time to put up or shut up. We will not wait forever and sometimes your own hands do the best work.

Simple answer is they don't give a fiddler's fuck about veterans. Not unless its an election year and they want photo ops. Trump was the only exception. I will be forever grateful for all he did and does. The rest can dry up and blow away as far as I am concerned. I served in the Army from 2000-2010. I know I volunteered and I am not trying to beat my chest about my service. There is a long list of veterans that deserve more praise and accolades than I ever will. I just did my part.
