This is just plays into identity politics. What about instead of calling people like African American or Mexican American we started calling them American African to mess with them and say that being American is more important so that part has to go first. It's an easy answer and it's that America is just another country that's similar to Latin American countries, we will have joined them as corrupt dysfunctional societies. I've traveled in a few of these places and love some things about the areas but the governments there are fundamentally broken and issues always seem intractable with people not having upward mobility. Anyone who wants to see the future that America holds just needs to go to places like California (Latin America of the US) and then actual Latin American countries

I agree a lot is going on and Biden may have been necessary but I'm just saying don't tell us to go vote in 2020, have it stolen (and not fixed yet) then just tell us to go vote again in 2022, it just doesn't sit well with me. If something big happens this week all will be forgiven though
