My husband and I went to a Walmart way south of Miami near the start of Hwy 1 to get supplies before heading to our real destination while on vacation. The place was a madhouse of illegals. It truly felt like a third world country (and I’ve visited many). No one spoke English except a few employees. These were not Mexicans nor Cubans… they were shorter and darker… I’m guessing Central Americans. Many men, but some families as well. It was very surreal.
