The word "patriot" originates from the latin word "patria", which translates to "homeland, country". A corporation is not a country, because those two are legally distinct entities. Hence the word "patriot" is offensive to the corporation of US, because it doesn't represent support for the corporation.

Back in the year 17ad the tribes got together and they established the first governing body that told the people if they were hunters or gatherers. This worked out for a while until a group formed to take back their freedom. The held a riot and over threw the established "leaders". The man in charge of the riot was named Pat. Hence Patriot. Based on the act of 1871, which made Washington DC basically a separate country outside the jurisdiction of the republic of the United States. People are speculating, that Trump plans to let the corporation of United States with its insurmountable debt go bankrupt in order to revive the original republic created by the founders.
