Clever Hans was a horse that was claimed to have performed arithmetic. After a formal investigation in 1907, psychologist Oskar Pfungst demonstrated that the horse was not actually performing these mental tasks, but was watching the reactions of his trainer. When the trainer gave the number the horse was to count, he held his breath, and when the horse had pawed the correct number of times, the trainer exhaled. The horse had learned the exhale was his cue to stop pawing.

FTA: I happened to have a front-row seat when Jake Tapper had his moment of moral crisis. I’m guessing his fierce vitriol toward me is a reaction to his embarrassment that I was witness to the instant when Mr. Tapper chose career over character.
This may be part of it, but the vitriol sounds too vicious and hyperbolic for it to be only that. Tapper now seems to bear a personal grudge against Kennedy, and it may be that someone, perhaps Tapper himself, convinced Tapper that Kennedy hoodwinked him, or something similar to that.

The problem with this statement is that I remember a Trump tweet from 2015 where he was challenging the value of vaccines. And then we have his contact with RFK, Jr. to have him lead a task force to address the vaccine issue, which then was summarily dropped by Trump after he appointed Azar and Gottlieb to their posts.
