Background: Parliamentary inquiry

[@Voice4Victoria]: Summary of the parliamentary inquiry

That's it, we are done!

In close we've discovered that none of the experts support the widespread mandates are still being in place & also none of them are advising the govt so the question becomes are the govt lying & covering up that they've made up their own 'health advice'?

In short yes mandates are coming off in some way. It should be done tomorrow but won't be because the govt are absolute dogs who set their internal vx mandate 'consultation' deadlines as the 13th of July in multiple dep'ts. What a coincidence! 🙄 bunch of absolute swamp donkeys.

Commentary

[Voice4Victoria]: Commentary about announcement dropping most of the mandates

Interesting that 2 days after a public hearing into mandates, where every single expert stated that at no point have they given this govt any health advice within the last 6 months & all think the mandates aren't justified, they get suddenly ripped off. That's some great science.

[Voice4Victoria] The specific wording that "enabled" the mandates has been removed. Explainer

https://twitter.com/Voice4Victoria/status/1537983342356099072/photo/1

EXPLAINER

The mandates were worded that 'for general workers, nobody can work outside the home unless double vaxxed'. This was a legal loophole to technically not actually ban people from working. The reality of which was obviously very different - this is just the technicalities of it & the wording has obviously confused people a bit with these changes.

They have now removed this. So you can be unvaxd & work outside home. This means any general worker can now go back to work unvaxxed. Hospo, retail, beauty, etc. This is literally thousands of people.

This is obviously subject to workplaces trying to set their own policies, which are also subject to normal FairWork rules & principles with all legal protections that government policy provided gone. Please note this is somethine private businesses would always have been able to try.

A number of industries have lifted the third dose & we are waitin on clarity if they need two or can be unvaxxed. Based on wording it looks as if there are ONLY those specific frontline industries keeping a booster mandate & all other vax mandates go. Waiting for confirmation on this.

Everything was purposefully written and verbally spoken of in a vague manner to get kneejerk reactions and wash their hands clean if legal issues arose.

Even collecting vax certs was never required according to written documents yet on the news and video pressers it was implied

Note: The Victorian state election is set to be held in November 2022.
